Part of the nursing high school vision is to see our graduates participating in a transformed health care system in Honduras. Students are holding health fairs in central Choluteca and using their learned knowledge to teach those they encounter.
We now have a new school director. Tania Moncada started as director at the nursing school in 2020 and is doing a fantastic job. She has innovative ideas for improving the education of high school youth in the region.
The Ohio State University College of Nursing's Spring publication of Transformations included an article on the Choluteca nursing school. Check the article starting out page 31.
A property payment is due on September 13th. We need 62 people to donate $1,600. Or, we need to sell 40,000 plates of food. Read (Our Blog) how the sale of plates of food funds the purchase of the property.
Our students come from all over the country. They all have one thing in common, a desire to be nurses.(Information coming soon.)
